When integrated GitHub, Todo2d automatically imports issues or tasks into its platform. This allows you to leverage the strengths of both tools: the specialized functionality of the external product and the task management capabilities of Todo2d.Here's what happens when you integrate Todo2d with GitHub:

• Importing existing data: Relevant issues or tasks from the integrated product are automatically imported into Todo2d.
• Real-time updates: When a task is checked off as completed in Todo2d, the corresponding issue in the external product (e.g., GitHub) is marked as done.
  • Selective syncing: Only specific fields, such as completion status, are updated between the two platforms. Titles and descriptions remain unchanged to maintain data consistency.

What's Not Automatically Synced

To ensure a seamless experience, new tasks created within Todo2d are not automatically exported GitHub. This is a deliberate design choice to ensure since Todo2d is focussed on creating many small tasks, while GitHub issues are often a single large task. By keeping those smaller tasks in Todo2d we avoid cluttering the external product with unnecessary details.
