Organizations

An organization allows a group of individuals to work together. It can be viewed as a shared contact list.

Todo2d prioritizes privacy and security. Access to an organization does not grant access to its resources.

Often, when multiple companies collaborate, one company must create a workspace in their own environment and then add members from another company. This introduces risk, as one company opens its environment to another party.

Todo2d limits these kinds of risks by using a more flexible system in which organizations are often temporary in nature. This allows decision-makers from different companies to collaborate without exposing their full organizational structures or resources.

Here is a step-by-step example of how two companies can set up and manage a joint organization using Todo2d:

1. A decision-maker from either company creates a new organization specifically for the joint project.
2. Both decision-makers join this new organization as administrators.
3. Each administrator adds their own team members from their own company to this new organization.
4. Members of the organization can now view one another.
5. Administrators can add organization members to the appropriate workspaces.
6. Administrators may delete the organization at any time once the collaboration concludes.
